Introduction

We recognize the need for clients to control the use and management of Personal Information. By “Personal Information” we mean information that can be used to identify or contact an individual. This may include, but is not limited to, a first and last name, a physical address, an email address, a credit card number, a social security or tax identification number, date of birth, or a phone number. If you decide to submit a document or contact our office, we may collect this information so that we can provide you with the services you requested.

Personal Information Use

We use Personal Information provided by you so that we can provide the services you request. We may send you emails in response to your requests for services. These notifications are considered part of our service. We may also periodically send you email or other notifications concerning specific items of concern.

SMS Messaging

Upon verbal or written consent provided to the Firm, the Firm will be able to send SMS messages via your phone. SMS consent and phone numbers will never be shared with third parties or affiliates under any circumstances. SMS consent is not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Messages from the Firm will include requests for documentation related to services we are performing for you. Information provided will be stored on our secured servers and access will be limited to employees who we believe have reasonable need to use the information to provide services to you, or to perform their jobs. Messaging frequency may vary, but will be as initiated by you. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by texting “STOP.” For assistance, text “HELP”. While the Firm will make every effort to maintain security amongst documents provided, messaging documents with personal information is at the risk of the client.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not share or sell your Personal Information with unrelated parties, nor do we make your Personal Information publicly available without your express permission.

Information Control

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of Personal Information you provide to us. You are responsible for updating your account information as needed to ensure it is accurate at all times.

SMS Terms & Conditions

Your access to, and use of, the SMS text messaging system is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. By agreeing to receive text messages from Grafton & Associates, P.C. you accept, without limitation or qualification, the Terms of Use outlined below.

Program Description

Grafton & Associates, P.C. may use a cell phone SMS text messaging system to send SMS text messages with requests for documentation related to services we are performing for you. These text messages are intended to offer additional options to provide the documentation outlined above.

Message Frequency

There will be no messages from Grafton & Associates, P.C. that have a marketing purpose. The frequency of non-marketing messages will vary as such messages will be directly related to the services we are providing to you.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply to each text message sent or received in connection with Grafton & Associates, P.C. text messages, as provided in your mobile telephone service rate plan (please contact your mobile carrier for pricing plans), in addition to any applicable roaming charges. Grafton & Associates, P.C. does not impose a separate fee for sending Grafton & Associates, P.C. text messages.

How to Opt-In

To opt-in to receive text messages from Grafton & Associates, P.C., please fill out the "Send Us A Message" form at www.graftoncpa.com/contact, selecting the checkbox agreeing to receive text messages from us.

How to Opt-Out

To stop receiving text messages from Grafton & Associates, P.C. text STOP to the same number you receive your initial text message from. You will then receive confirmation of your opt-out of that text messaging program.

Your Mobile Telephone Number

You represent that you are the account holder for the mobile telephone number(s) that you provide. You are responsible for notifying Grafton & Associates, P.C. immediately if you change your mobile telephone number. You agree to indemnify Grafton & Associates, P.C. in full for all claims, expenses, and damages related to or caused in whole or in part by your failure to notify Grafton & Associates, P.C. if you change your telephone number, including, but not limited to, all claims, expenses, and damages related to or arising under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Access or Delivery to Mobile Network is Not Guaranteed

Delivery of information and content to a mobile device may fail due to a variety of circumstances or conditions. You understand and acknowledge that network services, including, but not limited to, mobile network services, are outside of Grafton & Associates, P.C.'s control, and Grafton & Associates, P.C. is not responsible or liable for issues arising from them.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

Grafton & Associates, P.C. may revise, modify, or amend these SMS Terms and Conditions at any time. Any such revision, modification, or amendment shall take effect when it is published to www.graftoncpa.com. You agree to review these SMS Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Your continued consent to receive Grafton & Associates, P.C. text messages will indicate your acceptance of those changes.

Termination of Text Messaging

Grafton & Associates, P.C. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your receipt of test messages if it is believed you are in breach of these SMS Terms and Conditions. Your receipt of text messages is also subject to termination in the event that your mobile telephone service terminates or lapses. Grafton & Associates, P.C. may also modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or part of Grafton & Associates, P.C. text messages, with or without notice.
